These pics are a month old already! I was having some trouble with Windows Live Writer, so I got frustrated and stopped blogging for a bit. 9.13.09 we headed out to the Pumpkin Patch. It was a HOT day…kind of weird to be at a pumpkin patch in summer-like weather. We actually picked raspberries and apples. Before we headed out we had lunch. Well, some of us did…Silas was going…
going…
gone!
Silas got his turn at the wheel before being pushed out by some older drivers.
I gave Eli the choice between a tattoo and a pony ride. He chose the pony ride, but decided Si needed a bat tattoo.
Eli picked “Chip” to ride.
First time on a pony…he smiled, but thankfully didn’t ask for one as a pet(yet).
While Eli was riding, Silas met a few goats…
and chickens.
Nothing like real apple cider – and a ride when you’re tired.
Silas had lots of fun picking apples, taking a bite, and throwing them. I was hoping no one would notice. Now I know why parents sometimes seem oblivious.
Silas threw a tantrum, and threw out our apple picking maps…and anything else he could find.
Eli had a ride in Jane the cow.
The boys and Sarah spent some time checking out the pumpkin patch.

It was Eli's second time on a pony! His first was last summer at the zoo in Little Falls- the same day he tried to catch the baby pigs. ;)
