hiccups

Silas has had a number of ear infections this winter/spring, so we have been using lots of Tylenol.  Tonight the medicine dropper was sitting on the kitchen table and Eli grabbed it and licked it and then smiled big at me….I said, “Eli, please don’t, that’s medicine and we only get medicine if we’re sick.”  He said, “Mommy, I’m sick!  I have a cold.”  I said, “Well, I don’t see your nose running.”  He replied, “But I have the hiccups, Mommy, I do!”
